Well, I have to admit, they attract me. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm pretty new, too. I guess reading and comparing different casinos, and finding the ones you can resonate with, is really the only thing to do.

If I play with a $100, I will stop playing if I have a win of $50 or more. Or I use a stop loss, if I lose $50 then I stop playing. This is what I do, and it helps me to know when to stop. I basically use this method with a lot of investing type stuff, too.

What are tournaments and how are they played? Are they designed to give you a better chance of winning, or something? For some reason, they sound difficult to me.

Most of the games I have seen like this are meant to draw a new person in, its not something that you would or could play all of the time. I am sure some places differ though with their own regulations.

I am not really sure how anyone from the general public could test this theory out. I know there are tons of tales too but I just do not see how you could properly stalk one single machine without being asked to leave (hopefully nicely).

You know I have heard a ton about Rushmore but I have still not made it over that way to play yet. It has to be one the five top places I hear of at least twice a week.

I wonder if too many people over think the game, no matter what type of game they are playing. You can be at home on a computer or in a casino but its the mindset that I know at least gets a few people I have been out with. Negative thoughts bring negative actions, those actions could be how they are playing at the time.

I have a lucky poker chip from my first ever casino win.  I know in my head that there really isn't such a thing as a lucky charm but I can't seem to help myself.  I feel naked if I don't have it in my pocket when I go to the casino.  I hadn't thought to do the same when playing online, though.

I haven't tried a tournament yet but from what I'm hearing from friends, the best part is the social aspect so I would say try a tournament at your favorite site first.  I have heard that there is often side games inside chat with extra little prizes at many sites, too.

I understand researching anything involving money but I'm not following having to research social sites.  If there is no money involved, how could you get scammed by joining a social website?
