I think the odds would have to be amazing. I think in my older age I am not as quick to bet on something, I tend to study it more first instead of jumping in feet first.

Actually, this is an example of what's known as "gambler's fallacy".  Just because it hasn't hit for a while does not actually increase your odds of winning.  Slots are based on random number generators and each spin has the same exact odds of winning as any other spin.

I don't know if it makes your odds better or not, but it certainly would be more thrilling to play for a larger pot than a smaller one.  I know I get a lot more excited over the idea of winning a huge amount of cash.

I prefer to play when the jackpots are larger, too. It just FEELS more like I am more likely to win since its been running up for so long. Having said that, I HAVE sat waiting to win that jackpot and it never comes!  If we're honest - haven't most of us?
